Wasn't this used as an official opening? Does it still count as "Fan animation" anymore?
>>94267702
This isn't fan made.
>>94267746
I don't think some cheap text superimposed onto real cartoons is what OP is asking for.

>>94268895
Looks better than anything on the actual show
Done by an artist as a Titmouse job test that they never submitted because they got other work, so not technically official.

The fanpart may be her going from monoboob to actual boobs around 0:20. If that's not it, then I'm lost as well.
I dont exactly know if this is a fan animation but this Simpsons claymation

It's because SU is only boarded by westerners. the animation is handled by koreans who
1) don't care about making it look good
2) don't have the time to make it look good
>>94269002
When you have no deadlines you can make something look as good as you want it to. Not to downplay that sequence though, it's excellent.

KYHU makes animations now?
what's the fast track to me getting as good as these people
>>94269861
Unless you're a neet with plenty of spare time (or a savant) you really do need to go to a school for this kind of thing. Now the main thing that school actually gets you is a period of time to do nothing but get good. Some people throw this away but I've seen countless people completely change from enrolment to graduation.and even if you're good you're not guaranteed a job right out the gate, unless you're calarts or something
>>94269861
Practice your ass off. Just do it and do it and keep doing it.
Also take some life drawing classes, it helps with getting motions and stuff to look right, and it's good practice.

Nothing. Animation by its very nature is a tedious, slow process. People who are already good at it can still take months to do something like pic related.
But getting good in general? Assuming you know how to draw (Which is mandatory to do animation; without it, it'd be like learning how to form sentences without knowing the alphabet), I'm just gonna copy-paste my answer for when I get this question (I'm some random SVA graduate):
You don't have to go to go to school, there are many resources to help you learn. Richard Williams Animator's Survival Kit being the most popular one, as well as others like Preston Blair's Animation Book, Eric Goldberg's Crash Course. And some online resources:

It also helps to watch other animators work to see their process. A good video to start with is Glen Keane's demonstration at CalArts:

The last and hardest part is finding other good artists you trust to give you constant critique, since it's very hard to improve solely by eyeballing your own work. You may not know what's wrong with it to begin with so you won't know what mistakes to look for. If you really struggle to find someone talented enough that you trust, you could always shell out a few hundred dollars on online courses where your teachers are professional animators who currently work in the industry. They'd give you both assignments and critique on anything you asked and while it would still be expensive, it's ten thousand times cheaper than four years of art school.
