The Korrasami was okay though I didn't really find the angle about Korra always feeling like Asami understood her believable. It's good Mike acknowledged the criticism about the portal, but I really have no idea how they're going to resolve that issue.

There's definitely some european/western influence in the setting that don't really make any sense, mostly in the architecture (though in Bryke's defense 1920s Asia did look like Republic City in some parts due to colonization). Zhu Li's wedding ring and dress stand out as well.

Plus most examples of talking spirits have taken time out of their day to shit on humanity and brush them off as insignificant.
There also seems to be no benefit whatsoever from having good relations with the spirit world, because they aren't organized in any fashion and offer nothing.

How many helpful spirits have there been in LoK, anyway? There was that little spirit who appeared to Korra as a puppy, but have there been more? There were also some spirits who didn't actually mean any harm, but they got corrupted and turned evil so their good/neutral intentions didn't matter in the end. But I have trouble remembering much more friendly interactions with spirits.
And why didn't that puppy spirit reappear back when Korra requested the spirits to help defend Republic City from Kuvira, anyway? It would've been nice to see at least some token attempt at "see, spirits aren't actually all assholes!". In LoK, there have been very few reasons to have any sympathy for spirits. They're like a bunch of horrible roommates that you're forced to live with. They've been taking over space at Republic City against the wishes of the people living there, but when they were asked to help and defend the city they're squatting in, they just ditched it, and now they're getting pissed off when humans try to get on their turf. They want humans to accommodate to their bullshit, but they're not willing to put any effort to do the same in return.

Do Korra and Asami have a problem with the idea of tourists traveling into the spirit world? Those two just went there on a vacation, surely they're not hypocritical enough to claim that other people don't have the right to travel like that too?
