I feel like the Mario & Luigi series would be easier to adapt.

I love the Paper Mario games, but they tend to have the awful problem of Mario just kinda being the force the drives the story forward with a big rotating cast of side characters who do all the talking.

M&L has the brothers engaged at all times, with them acting both heroic and silly, even if they never technically "talk." Their Italian-esque jabbering and pantomiming is a far cry better than "wave hand" and "nod head." Plus, they stay the stars of the show rather than Mario having to tote around a bloated cast of misfits. Works great in a game, would kinda bog down things in a show.

i agree and disagree . while Mario and Luigi were better as personalities. the ploy for most of hose series was weaker, and was almost relaxed with how relaxed it was and how silly everyone was. while mario himself has a weaker personality and is GARUNTEED o be over-shadowed by the rest of the cast , the tone in those series (especially after the first one) was very dark in one and often series. i think us a tradeoff between characters and story, but honestly id be fine with either.
