Sounds a lot like McNulty and Herc parenthesize Gardner in terms of reflecting a bit more of either of the characteristic spectrum he resides within. Shame neither Dominic West nor Domenick Lombardozzi look anything like him. They both effectively played extreme versions of him on the Wire.
