Well who would expect a bored cop to be an international thief?

Gargoyles? Why? I thought it got a satisfying ending. Although I might be thinking about some other 90s weekday cartoon I used to watch.

You got an old lady cop fetish or somethin?

It was the perfect cover.

While not bad, it's like Transformers Animated where it's ok for an ending but there's so much more story to tell.

The show's appeal for me was how the main cast were struggling to live in a world where beings like them were extremely rare and the humans had pushed the few remaining individuals and enclaves of nonhuman creatures to hiding in remote places. The handful of kindred creatures who popped up more often than not tended to be the freakish results of humans experimenting on specimens they caught or people they kidnapped. This created an atmosphere of loneliness and loss that allowed the closeness and camaraderie of the main cast to really stand out. Demona was the perfect contrast to the heroes because she stood as an example of what happens if you don't have a family or circle of comrades to stand with you in a hostile world.
But the longer the show went on, the more and more gargoyles and fey and other beings kept getting introduced until the plight of the Manhattan group no longer seemed remarkable at all. Every city had a nest of gargoyles or fairies or whatever.
tl;dr I'm glad it ended when it did because it was trending in the wrong direction and losing its great atmosphere as a result.

We'll I guess I can agree the 20 or so episodes with Goliath and Eliza globetrotting was a bit too much.
