Popeye begins the fight. Saitama ignores him or is thinking of something else. Popeye pulls out the spinach then Saitama has a realization punches out Popeye before he can eat the spinach. Saitama finally notices sorta, and fucks off.

Popeye doesn't carry any yen on him, so he can't buy spinach and being a real man refuses to steal it. Saitama sees the fight isn't going anywhere and offers to buy him some spinach, but then realizes that he, too, is broke.

If we follow Saitama's gag premise, Popeye loses. If we don't follow the premise, Popeye wins. It's very simple and there isn't much of an argument to be made beyond that. But there's going to be a huge argument anyway, isn't there, /co/? Why we do this to ourselves over something so silly, especially with characters like these, I doubt I'll ever understand. I typically enjoy hypothetical versus but this one is entirely pointless.

Conversely, Powerman has already killed them both full stop.
