Batman uses chi since O'Neil. He uses chi to heal faster, close his wounds so he wont bleed to death and make his punches harder, he can stop a sword with a kick or his empty hand.

For the record Daredevil can also use chi to close his wounds. Batbooks was were DC's martial arts characters were to hide and survived after the genre died.
