So the suit is actually corrupting. Kind of smoothes over my issues with Damian going back to the Ah Ghul way of thinking when its the exact opposite of his character arc, but now the whole thing feels cheap.

The point of the current storyline is that Terry is wearing one of Bruce's experimental suits that's make him go further and further the longer he wears it.
It turns out, Bruce had initially given the suit to Damian who, upon murdering the League of Assassins goons he was sent to stop, went AWOL and joined Ra's. The implication seems to be that the suit made him crazy, but he's also claiming that the suit had nothing to do with it (which is probably a lie).

The suit that Terry is wearing is equipped with a murderous AI that kills its users by overworking them and pumping them full of anything and everything to keep them fighting. Bruce wore it in the night that forced him to retire and Damian wore it, now Terry started wearing it before Bruce could warn him about it.
