Static should be dealing with street problems that affect youth in his neighborhood. Make it so a syndicate of super-villains are starting to sell performance-enhancing drugs that give dangerously unstable super-powers to kids on campus to use them as Guinea pigs and turn Static's arc into basically Kamen Rider Fourze, where he has to convince kids to say no to drugs and stay in school, then make it all tie into the overarching YJ plot by having the super-villain group start using perfected versions of that drug based on the data collected on kids to build an army of super-soldiers.

I'm just glad that they're allowed to use Milestone characters.

I'm actually readying myself for disappointment.

I want him to be stupid powerful. Not purely because of how strong his electricity is, but because of how creative he is with the power set. Electric powers have been pretty dull since.. well since the original Static series. Everything thinks lightning bolts are all there is to it, and I'm really counting on Static to change that stereotype like he has countless times in the past.

Of all the heroes in this new line up, Static has the most potential for some webm worthy fight scenes and I'll be extremely pissed if he does the shit he's doing in OP's pic all season.
