The only good thing about Korra were the fight scenes and half the main villains.
Jack vs Zombies was pretty damn good.
>Fight
>Mostly just effects and barely movement

The fight for the homeworld in Sym-bionic titan.
Ep 2 and 3 of season 5 of samurai jack
Artemis and robin vs the Tornado bots in young justice
Like half the fights in clone wars and the clone wars
>>94159520
All of the fight scenes and all of the villains in LOK were absolutely fucking terrible. You have horrifically shit taste, anon.
>>94159722
I will disagree on most of the final fight of book 3. Zaheer vs korra was a great fight, even if the stakes weren't strong.
>>94159722
Amon was great until lolwaterbendingbrother and Zaheer was great.
>>94159683
they were fighting childhood trauma

>>94159722
Zaheer vs. Tenzin was fucking solid though, anon.
>>94159722
Dumb anon.
The average fight scenes on cartoons is Steven Universe (shit, and I say as someone that actualy whatches the show) or like JLU (only punch!punch!punch!)
Korra is EASILY among the top 10 of western tv animation fight scenes.

>simple weapon throws, overly dramatic pans and slowmos
>no choreography to speak of
>sjfags actually think this is good fight animation

Nox vs. Growhateverhisnameis is the best fight

Nox vs Grougaloragran

This is aesthetic but not well choreographed
>>94159511
Just be glad it's not a Jojofag this time.
Korra had some pretty solid fights. People pretty rightfully so though hate it so everything it ever did is now the worst.
>>94159497
best boy vs orgrest was the best fight
>>94166314
Korra the show is a lot like Korra the character. Nothing much going on inside, but very pretty to look at.
>>94159722
People only harp on Korra's fight scenes because they were a different style to ATLA's.

Is that Sterling Archer?
>>94166984
James Bond.
Well if we're posting My Hero Acadamia anyway then fuck it.
>>94166996
What's the source?
>>94165048
Why didn't the rest of the season look like this?

Must be the original Kung Fu Panda cartoon, before Dreamworks' remake. Kinda like Peabody and Sherman.
>>94167032
PANDA Y LA SERPIENTE MÁGICA

Panda and the White Serpent. It's also the source of Hayao Miyazaki's childhood waifu.

But of course when they made an american dvd for it, the cover art ended up looking like this.
>>94160163
It was a shitty ripoff of the main Sozin's Comet fight.
>>94160997
>he was a great villain until he wasn't a great villain
And Zaheer is deeply overrated here.
>>94159520
avatar had better ones
>>94166676
That fight was intense. It really felt like everything was on the line.
>>94166816
No, because they were a far worse style, like all the animation:

>>94164616
only good fight intercut with shit-tier fights
>>94159451
Pretty much every fight in Korra puts the standard /co/ fare to shame. Some of the DC animated stuff is good too, especially the Wonder Woman scenes.
Honestly though I am really struggling to think of good /co/ fight choreography. Why is the west so far behind in this regard? I guess there's just less of a martial arts culture so people aren't as passionate about it.
>>94165048
Gendy is fucking horrible at choreography. Nothing moves naturally. Nothing looks fluid. It's a great scene with great cinematography, but no good fight animation to speak of.
>>94166816
I argue that it lost a lot of the style that avatar had
it's like watching kickboxing instead of kung fu fights. sure, it can be practical, but it's not really as entertaining
