I did some research into that a few years ago for a class, IIRC my findings were basically that if there is any banging it's incredibly underreported, which would make sense with how there's kind of different standards for promiscuity in the sexes.

But my belief was that very little of it was going on at all because female musicians tend to have dedicated relationships at a much younger age and their boyfriends toured with them. Maybe also because there's a lot greater change a random dude groupie at a concert is probably more likely to be a fucking violent psychopath.

Granted, this was mostly just in the heavy metal scene. Now that I think about it, anecdotally there's an incredibly high amount of lesbians among female metal fans, which I would not doubt for a second would extend to the musicians as well, so if there was banging, it might have been mostly female on female.

The artist is doing this correctly: the city is as important as any of the foreground characters. That's something that's always enchanted me about Mister X. and it doesn't do it by creating an allergorical "I am the city as a man" puppet. Like when Star Trek created the Borg Queen to personify the Borg, no man no, the Borg was inscrutable, that was part of the horror and threat. You make the Borg into a feudal system and it's no longer alien it's just another human metaphor with foam rubber on its forehead.

Mister X stories have a constant "man vs. (manufactured) nature" soundtrack always playing.

It's always been kind of strange to me, the idea of SFW on a site like 4chan where you can call someone a nigger, faggot, or niggerfaggot without consequence.

But I suppose those rules were put in place before 4chan was so infamous that you actually COULD browse it at work.

I think the SFW rules are more to just keep porn and non-porn boards separate, because if you can post porn, you know the content is gonna be 90% porn. The Pokemon board was like that at first before they made it SFW.
