Is there any way to justify what peggy did in this episode?
At the start of the episode Hank says something to the effect that Bobby doesn't need to learn how to cook and clean because his future wife will do that for him. Peggy sincerely loves Hank but he's not so good at expressing that himself, so on a subconscious level that doesn't really start to surface until the episode she believes that's the only reason why they're still together. That's why there's a joke about Bobby being "the other woman" and why she has a talk with her hairdresser about what she can do to still make her relevant and needed by Hank.
TL;DR being married to Hank kinda sucks.

No she basically had a mini-midlife crisis and dragged her family along for the ride.

She wanted the cock, but Hank didn't want to give it to her.

No. There is no excuse for thinking your son is going to steal your husband.

She smelled bad.

Basically what this guy said, but even this isn't an excuse for her behavior.
In all honesty I'm sure Peggy has some sort of psychological disorder that causes her to do all the horrible things she does throughout the show's run

She thought Twinkie House was an autobiographical work.

She thought plants can suck the oxygen out of your lungs.

she smelled like stuffing

It starts shortly after she falls out of the plane.
