I'm still a little upset that season one didn't use Birthday Boy from Johns' Earth One. Not because of liking the character or thinking they could do more with him than a simple serial killer, but because he would have fit well back before the show went full crazy.

Can they even do Pyg properly on a regular TV station?

I would have preferred they kept to the Falconi family and mobsters, with a few pre-supervillain incarnations of characters like Harvey and Nigma (as he was), and kept to the broads strokes of the current Bruce plotline in the background.

But what we got is fun as fuck, so I can forgive them. Seeing Bruce do a Daredevil at the end of this last season was satisfying as fuck after all the build up, even if it does feel a bit soon.

He's going to have to fuck up/get fucked up and have to go for proper training beyond a month with the League, because it's going to be hard to have him running around as proto-Batman for too long. A season at most.

It's an issue if you look beyond the timeline of the show, which is self contained, so not really a big one. Some of the villains are the same age, some are a decade or more older, and others are technically undead. It's not a big deal really.
