The whole point of All Star line was to take A list creators and let them do what they wanted with the character for a little while then brung in a new creator team. Basically non-canon Legends of the Dark Knight on the Trinity.

Trouble was, ASS and ASBAR ended up being too huge for their own good, and Hughes was taking forever to make All Star Wonder Woman so DC instead dropped the whole line since keeping the titles as their own thing was considered better business strategy.

Of course then Snyder had to dilute the brand a little with his shitty and forgettable Batman series.

I don't buy that theory. Look at the projects Jim Lee was working on instead of ASB:

-New 52 Justice League: Needed to launch the start of the New 52.
-Superman Unchained: Out the year Man of Steel was out.
-Batman: Europa: A project that was announced back in 2004, yet wasn't out till 2015.
-Multiversity: The Mastermen: one-shot for a project that Morrison had been working on since the 00's.
-Harley Quinn and Suicide Squad special, and Rebirth Suicide Squad: Suicide Squad movie was out that year.

The only things that would vaguely fit into your theory is Europa and Multiversity but those also fit into the idea of Jim Lee taking on too many projects and not working that fast. The others have more to do with coinciding with some other major release.
