Huh. Didn't know this was getting an adaptation.

Looks like it will probably be pretty good, but I doubt it will strike the same kind of dark comedic and occasionally sympathetic tones the comic did. Trailer makes it look pretty bleak.

It feels like it was focusing too much on Jeffrey rather than Derf. Like, the book was kind of an outside view of Jeffrey because it was about the author's own experiences with the guy. He shouldn't be the main character.

Still, this is just a trailer, and it's too soon to judge.

Thought the same, but the name of the movie is still the same so Derf will still probably have a biggish part.

Besides that, all in all, looks pretty spot on.
