Judy and Nick have a fall out as they realise they can't change their natural instincts. Judy is still afraid of foxes. While her mind says Yes. her body says Run. And Nick no matter how he tries, turns out to be a dirty cop. Finnick comes up with a plan that is going to make them both rich and all Nick needs to do is to show a little authority.

Finnick's plan fails due to outside criminal factors, putting Nick in deep shit. And Judy accidently mazes Nick, and herself.

Nick and Judy are undercover and try to infiltrate an extremist group that's on the ZPD's radar
They find out that the group has a virus or something that they think will mutate all of Zootopia's mammals into a single mono-species so that racism and bigotry will stop. Basically furry far-leftists.

All the while, Nick puts the moves on a vixen member of the group in order to get more intel. Judy starts to chafe a little, but helps him along for the sake of the mission. It's basically one big ship tease and drama generator

They stop the extremists, save the city, give a spiel about how distinct but equal species is a good thing, and we're left with Judy researching canine penises

How? We don't actually see any predators acting predatory in the film. They don't snap their jaws or growl or sneak up on people or even have toothy grins. Even when Nick is deliberately provoking Judy after the press conference he doesn't really ham it up.

Even the drugged animals aren't acting like predators, they're just acting hyper-aggressive.

They should do an Immigration theme this time around, like how Race was about the first one.

Introduce Birds. Aviopolis has been experiencing some civil rights movement or internal civil war and Zootopia has an influx of bird immigrants moving in. Zootopia citizens hate how the a select few bird immigrants just fly over shit, not having to deal with traffic laws since Zootopia laws don't account for birds.

Hops and Wilde get sent to Aviopolis for detective assistance to Aviopolis and meet Aviopolis' two detectives on the case (similar to Judy and Nick). The two could be a Woodpecker and a Raven or something. They're just pretty much the Aviopolis equivalent of Judy and Nick.

The Aviopolis detectives and Judy+Nick "compete" to figure out the base of the problems in Aviopolis, finding the bad guy or whatever and help Aviopolis and exploring the city along the way. The bad guy or leader could be a penguin that leads a bunch of flightless birds cause they hate birds that can fly. Don't care about the bad guy too much. Just the idea of a bird-city

Judy and Nick's police/detective skills become LEGENDARY. Anything that the Chief throws at them, they solve. This is because they are both hungry to prove they can do anything just as good if not better than the rest of the police department because of their past (Judy being forced to be a lowly meter-maid and Nick because of what happened when he was a kid). Their personalities and skill set compliment each other making them unbeatable. Even when one fucks up too much, the other is on their ass to correct it.

Unfortunately, they grow too close. They start spending more and more off-hours around each other. They'll think nothing of it because he's a fox and her a bunny. As opposite as you can get in nature. And in the world of Zootopia, it's taboo. Oh, Clawhauser being a diehard fan of Gazelle is one thing. But even then, it makes others see him a bit...off for his worship. This is why the Chief is so embarrassed when he gets found out for having the app. That's why when love hits, they'll never see it coming.

Who knows who the villain will be in the new movie (I NEVER it coming with Bellwether and I was trying like hell to figure it out). But what IS certain is the villain knows he/she won't get away with...whatever they're trying to get away with while Judy and Nick are together. So a plot is formed to expose their relationship to everyone. Judy and Nick figure this out early on (because again, together their skills are epic) which puts a massive strain constantly hiding their feelings for each other.

All I got so far.

Honestly, I think that Disney will avoid the N/J relationship and focus on someone else. Like another cop from the ZPD, etc. So as to avoid the potential problem of "species-ism" in the story.

But, whatever the result, I'm just glad that it boosted around the web some pretty awesome (and quite bad) web comics. Whether furry porn, or as serious stories, some artists really nailed it. And could potentially work as a sequel of our own, if Disney fucks it up.
