How could Cartman get revenge on everyone?

1. Token (hanged from a tree)

2. Stan/Wendy (throw acid in Wendy's face; two in one payback)

3. Butters (murder his parents and framing him for the murders)

4. Craig (AIDS)

5. Clyde (framed for hanging Token from a tree as far as Clyde being framed for being a racist who murdered Token for being black)

6. Jimmy (vocal chords cut, irrevocably silencing him and robbing him of his dreams of being a stand-up comic)

7. Annie (the ringleader of the girls side that cause the boys to destroy Cartman's stuff; gets drugged and sold off to pedophiles who rape her to death).

The other kids will scapegoat Butters (and Kyle will stay quiet to protect his dad) if push comes to shove.

Also, I'd argue that revenge would wipe out one of the few positives of last season: Cartman's character growth.

As for Garrison, I still can't believe they didn't just abort him as the Trump stand-in when they had the chance.

They could have hand-waved Garrison going back to South Park by saying he got squeezed out of the primaries by Hurricane Donald. He comes back to South Park a pariah and they then go with their original plan for Garrison stopping the gender war between students, in order to get his job back.

Parker and Stone will just pretend season 20 didn't happen, as much as they humanly can.

Garrison will be gone and I would not be shocked if he is completely MIA from season 21. They might just permanently create a replacement teacher, just to get it over with already.

Cartman will go back to normal, like the last two seasons never happened outside vague references to Heidi having a crush on him.

We might get hints that Kyle is on the outs with his dad, but limit it to Kyle being upset his dad called him a faggot for being a SJW.

Butters will probably get a hard reset: no reference to his Canadian girlfriend or his anti anti-male bashing crusade.

Do they even need to do a revenge storyline for Cartman?

It would be super gratuitous and edgy for the sake of edgy.

If you keep up the character development of the last couple of seasons, it makes sense to not have Cartman go on a Kill Bill style revenge spree

If you do a hard reset and bring back the politically incorrect Cartman? You HAVE to do a revenge spree storyline. No just to get the character back into his old groove, but to remind fans that fucking with Eric Cartman has a price. Which is Cartman doing something unspeakable to you as part of his revenge.
