I just watched the first trailer for justice league and aquaman riding the batmobile is fucking awesome.

but he's right. The Death of Superman had 7 months of dead Superman comics dealing with his death before the Return of Superman happened. Batman V Superman may have happened over a year ago but there's only been 2 movies before his return and only ONE of them is actually set in a dead Superman world. there hasn't been enough time to show the impact of a dead Superman in this universe.

Reality: Cavill has been up for the next Bond since before it was official that Craig was stepping down. WB don't want to share Cavill with another franchise and left it open-ended as to whether he's genuinely being resurrected in JL. If he gets Bond - he's out of WB, Doomsday-Zod style. If he doesn't - he stays. Either way JL is the last movie of his original contract.
