Oh wow, a LoliRock thread. I guess a two year anniversary is as good a time as any to have one. I didn't even realize the Team LoliRock tumblr was even still updating. Pretty nice to see all the new concept art over there.

My favorite girl is, of course, Iris. My favorite background character is definitely Joanna. I'm not sure about a favorite guy, though.

I did like most episodes so it's hard to pick one as my favorite, although Shanila still stands out. And I'm afraid all my crazy lore ideas only applied before the ending on S2 came out, so they're not relevant anymore.

Dumblr is where everyone went after the first hiatus, when we no longer had weeklies. Myself and a few others that the cancer containment chantago for forever, and now several discord servers.
Honestly I think anon talk about it by way of a place like /co/ has gone the way of the dodo. Unless we get a miraculous release of some new content we really covered everything when Netflix got season 2. We kind of have the same threads these days...

But the comics are just panels from the shows. I know, I have three of them.

I'm actually surprised at how large they are. I expected some sort of manga-sized booklet, or perhaps something a bit larger. These things are huge, though, nearly 12" x 9". In full color and hardcover, as well.

I'm just impressed they put that much effort into it. If you've seen children's comics and books in NA, there is far less work. Comics are just standard paper sizes and comic book collections (trade paperbacks) are only soft-cover. Most young children's comics are even smaller, the size of a standard book.

I'm not sure if that is a LoliRock thing, or a France thing, or a European thing, but somebody seemed to care a lot more about the little girls' entertainment than what I'm used to seeing.

I'm sure they recognised somebody worked their assess in drawing all those storyboards for the cartoon (that much effort, it'd been years) so they wanted to honour them... Or the guys at stage staff just loved the girls (like I love Talia!)

Also if you staff guys are reading this... I'm pretty sure you've drawn porn of it! Or the girls in their undergarments and suggestive poses... Don't lie to me!

I dont know how often they do know but back when it was new they always lurked our weekly threads, and the guy who runs the official blog would post a few things. I think when he first appeared there were anons involved in animating the show during a very stressful time in production, so he got scared off a bit; visited our chatango instead.
He told me that the level of interest was more than he expected from this demographic and he was quite happy with us.
I've reached out to a few and personally thanked them/gushed on tumblr

This is completely hypothetical, but I've entertained to Pguy the idea of using these BDs as vehicles for sub stories, lore, and maybe a continuation of S2. The artist is a huge magical girl weeb and is very fond of the series, so I really think it would be entirely possible for this to work.
Marathon's former show Redakai actually had BDs that had HUGE origin backstory never addressed in the show itself. If they could do it there, they can do it with LR

I know that the staff did find a few of the early /co/ threads, back when the first season was airing. Something about waving seas of penises, I believe the comment was. I highly doubt they are here now, though.

I'm not sure why you would think they are. All this stuff is available on the official LoliRock tumblr. Besides, that image was edited with a transparent background in one of these threads.

I forget if the staff got numbers back and how often since last year. But I hear of more good than bad, from accounts of people stitching costumes for their kids for Halloween, and just accounts of new target demo viewers finding it and enjoying it.
Netflix does have some request feature where one would be able to relate interest in more. That's probably the most of what we can do.
