I liked the first episode but with how the releases went it just fell off my radar.

It was shit from the beginning

It's a shame that a 9/10 pilot was degraded into a terrible series, but it makes sense when you see all the factors that went into making the show. Anyone with hindsight would of known what was to happen.

I honestly didn't even enjoy the pilot. Too much of the "look how quirky we are!!" shit that is in so many modern cartoons.

I mean, it would've been at least good, if it hadn't been put on whatever shit that nobody had.

Spending a shitload of time doing nothing and not getting episodes released in favor of Bravest Warriors did not help.

They never touch on Puppycat being a space bandit in love with a princess again except for a two second acknowledgment in the last episode to remind you they didn't forget, and in the last minute they reveal Bee was a robot the whole time. In between they just kind of peter around episodically doing dumb magical girl odd jobs and being quirky in ways that are much less entertaining than with the one job in the pilot, and the monsters of the week are all severely underwhelming.

They changed the art style for the worse and pissed off a ton of fans, they took significantly longer to come out with every episode than the projected time estimate so all the hype died, and when jewtube screwed them over they moved the last half of episodes to some literally who streaming service that has nothing of value on it that you have to sign up for and pay a subscription to access, so what little interest was left was killed for good.

Which is a shame because the very last episode was a huge improvement on the whole show, like they had finally started to figure out what they were doing.

It wasn't supposed to turn out this way when it first started. Back then, there was some hope of making some kind of money from releasing content like this to youtube, and it cut out the need to bow down to all mighty executives of a traditional large tv network, giving the creators more freedom and more direct access to giving fans what they wanted. Also there were plans of merchandising that fell through. They unwisely thought that cleavage crab was going
to be a meme and they would sell thousands of plushies.

The kickstarter partly sold the concept as the dawn of a new era of internet cartoons that wouldn't involve corporate meddling. But that all just fell apart when youtube changed some policies on paying content creators around and there wasn't a similar video service site to turn to.
