I'm probably wrong but I feel like we're getting a Lapis song and/or Lapidot fusion. Before you start "get out zuke"-ing me, listen. At one point it was said that they have songs when characters undergo arcs and have a personal revelations(I will need to find the exact quote). Now it looks like Lapis is going to have that revelation:When it gets down to it, where does her allegiance lie? To Steven and Earth, or to herself? This is also specifically brought up by Peridot AKA the only Crystal Gem she likes "Earth is our home now. Isn't it worth fighting for?" This looks like the first real test of whether or not Lapis and Peridot are friends. Most of the later seasons have had relationship-challenging/changing arcs that also involve fusion(Season 2 with Pearl and Garnet, Season 3 with Steven and Amethyst). If this continues, we may see Lapidot-fusion. Of course I might be way off.

Jasper has never lied and her straightforwardness and honesty are some of her few redeeming qualities, but Lapis lied to Jasper while they were on a mission which is why Jasper through her in a jail cell initially and then needlessly deceived Jasper after she tried to get Lapis to help her beat the CGs so she could torture her instead


Jasper basically had stockholm syndrome since she felt worthless without malachite and ended up crawling back to Lapis after Lapis fusion raped her for several months, and then that lead to Jasper raping an AIDS dog because she was desperate not to lose again. Lapis only wanted Malachite back because she missed raping her

And Jasper is also anything but a coward, since she came back to Earth despite all the shit she's gone through on it just so that she could avenge PD and make up for not being able to protect her during the war, and never gave up in trying to do so even though she was outnumbered and got beaten multiple times.. While Lapis acted like a bitch towards Steven when she tried to kill him right after he saved her, because shes selfish and only cared about her own freedom, then acted like a selfish coward on the handship when Steven was trying to get her to do something, just because she wanted to stay out of it and still be able to live on homeworld, then she raped jasper because she's a selfish bitch who wanted to torture someone for revenge instead of humanely trapping her or poofing her for the good of Steven, and now the diamonds are trying to attack earth and she's acting like a selfish coward again by not helping Steven because she only cares about herself.

This is accurate from the clip shown during the panel. One thing I recalled mentioned during the scene is other planets brought up by the Homeworld gem (name wasn't mentioned, not sure if it's Emerald).

Another one that was significant from the trailer is that Lion had disappeared at some point, Steven is shown putting up a "Missing Lion" poster.

Sugar has another panel tomorrow morning but it will be in a FAR smaller room, I'll do my best to get in and Periscope the proceedings.

I took a big risk in filming what I could, it figures that it was an attendee that yelled at me to stop and not security. BTW there was only one woman in her 60s that was patrolling the aisle next to mine and she wasn't there when the videos were playing. I think the most insulting part of Steven Universe is the untapped potential.

The show never steps out of it's comfort zone and tries to do something that will expand the universe or add some more intrigue. And when they do something more interesting then crying and townie episodes it's so bittersweet cause you know they'll just go back to more boring filler until the end of the season.

They could've built up to this a lot better if they made allies across the show to bring them back to help fight Homeworld in an all out war.
