Can someone actually try and make an argument for this comic and what the hell it was about? It was chugging along being terrible and unmemorable and then it suddenly ended which made it even less satisfying. What was the point? What was the theme? Just... what the fuck was its reason for existing?
>"I left lots of things unexplained or open to interpretation on purpose; I think stories are more fun if you don’t necessarily have all the answers."
No, there was nothing fun about Alice Grove, and the things he "left out" would have been crucial to the comic having any kind of emotional or narrative impact at all. Y'know, like the reveal that Gavia and the blue guy's homeworld was a simulation of reality, could've been a hard-hitting twist if we had any idea what their homeworld was like and had any attachment to it. That's just to name one thing.
This comic was bad on so, so many fronts. What the fuck.
