I think that still is more of a "concept" shot and not what the movie will actually look like. I hope it's not live action. I also hope they don't do a "more realistic" art style for a CGI movie. Only two ways I see them making a movie is if
1. It's a prequel about Adrian's parents being a duo of crime fighting super-heroes, ends with Adrian's mom's death
2. It's the finale about Papillion finally getting his hands on the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous and attempting to resurrect his wife with Adrian coming to terms with his dad being a "bad guy"
Neither of which I notice feature any kind of arc for Marinette. She really is the most boring character in her own show.

While he hasn't purred, Adrien has done a lot of cat things. Especially in Animan. That episode really showed the cat side to Chat Noir. He was also licking himself in a cat like manner near the end of Princess Fragrance. Now Marinette, the only Ladybug thing she does is wear an outfit that is red with black spots. But then, unless a future villain is The Aphid I don't think she'll ever have a reason to be all that insectoid in behavior. Though I should point out that in real life, Ladybugs have the distinction of being one of the most sexually active of insects. I think they are also one of the few animals besides humans that engage in recreational sex. Just throwing this out there.
