Harold isn't a very sympathetic person when the episodes aren't focused on him. He wanted to fight Arnold, destroyed Pigeon Man's house, constantly makes fun of Helga without any reason, tried to bully the Stoop Kid, torments Eugene, and this is when the audience has time to see what's he's up to. It's implied that Harold, along with Sid and Stinky, pull these kinds of acts constantly. Hell, the 2017 Jungle claims they're still causing trouble and bullying people around.

I have been waiting for this movie for years

I wish they did a longer time skip where Arnold and his friends are at least teenagers. Half the cast are adults now, especially Helga and Rhonda, and it would explain why their voices sound more adult if a longer time skip happened.

Rhonda is the only "cute" girl that can match Lila, even Helga admits that. What's weird is that Helga has actually gotten more compliments on her looks or by reaction from Arnold, Stinky, and Brainy in the same episode when Helga gets a nanny. The movie is irrelevant. Nothing really changes how the character interact or develop, and the audience can keep skip it. Even Helga's confession is retracted and Arnold treats her the same as always.

Even before that, Arnold was subconsciously aware that Helga had feelings for him. As shown when Arnold dreams of visiting his cousin and falls for a version of Helga who isn't hiding a facade or when he dreams of being married to Helga.

Not true. Arnold allows Helga to retract her confession because he sees that she's clearly uncomfortable about having made it before being ready.

So much of this show's quality was from the kid's amazing performances (funny enough, Arnold is the exception and his VA change wasn't a big deal).

Here's what happened in the clip, for those who missed it:

Arnold is all sad with Abner on the bus, and he arrives at the boarding house, where Phil tells him to go to the roof. All his classmates are there (including Lila), plus a few others like Mr. Hyunh's daughter, Big Patty, and the turtle from Field Trip.

A video of how good a person Arnold is plays, with Sid starting the narration. On it, Stoop Kid, Pigeon Man, Dino Spumoni, Coach Wittenberg, and a lot of other people appear. After that, Simmons says that the video got them selected to go to San Lorenzo, which leaves Arnold's grandparents in silence.

Gerald tells Arnold that Helga made the video (this is what the surveillance monitors were all about), and he thanks her and touches her shoulder. Helga gets out of the boarding house and starts dancing in front of a news crew. The end.

TL;DR: A video with a bunch of cameos plays, gets them to San Lorenzo. Helga made that video.

I'm biased since I still think S1 Arnols had the best voice and everyone else tried to hard to sound lowkey to the point where he was whispering, the last voice was terrible but this new is okay. Gerald sounds way too young though and even before his voice became deeper in the series it still had a bit of a rasp to it but this new one is way to high pitched. Helga sounds the same to me, definitely deeper but still had that same pitch all these years.
