I wanna see Green Goblin again. I don't know why so many people are suffering from goblin fatigue all of a sudden. He was only the main villain in one movie 17 years ago and barely in ASM 2 and the third Raimi movie if you even count that.

I think it is just that every other instance of an onscreen goblin was such shit we do not want to try that again.

SM3 had evil snowboarder, and ASM 2 had weird armor joker wannabe. Neither were goblin-ey at all except that they wore green (mostly) and rode on a flying thingy. It's just a fear that if they keep trying with Green Goblin then it will only get worse and be even more of some asshole on a flying snowboard doing non-goblin stuff that will just look horrible.

I hope they have Peter in his freshman year of college, with Doc Ock as one of his professors (pre-tentacle arms), so they can really build up their relationship onscreen before Doc goes nuts and Peter has to stop him.

I want a villain with superpowers and not power armor/gadgets. MCU is filled with armor/gadget people and so few actually superpowered people.

Especially because they haven't really gotten deep on asshole Norman in any of the movies. Part of his appeal now is how he not only interacted with Peter but the Marvel U as a whole. They're missing out by not having him be an almost anti-Tony Stark.

Yeah, but think about how much budget had to reallocated to making the black suit costumes, doing the CGI work for it, and the new CGI and costumes for Venom on top of how much running time got eaten by having to setup Venom. Raimi himself does't refer to Harry as the Green Goblin, as he's not supposed to be an exact adaptation of Harry as the GG in SM3.
