Lots of American fuckery went on, though. The show was originally for boys before Nickelodeon decided they wanted a bunch of girl toons a few years ago. The show's been in development/production for so long that most of those girls cartoons (Miraculous, Winx, Harajuku - is that Italian girls high school show still on?) have already been dumped from the channel.

The show went through a couple of redesigns throughout development. It was originally shown off looking like this.

Probably a bit as soon as it airs, but I suspect it'll taper off quickly. This show doesn't seem to have any real hook going for it, just generic magical girls saving a city from evil thugs. Nothing special.
