Was Capitalism a mistake?
Only if this movie is successful.
If it flops and Sony gets their asses handed to them, then no.
Capitalism was never a mistake. Emojis were

No, but Sony is.
>>93976326
Unchecked unregulated capitalism is.
>>93976326
This money will make obscene amounts of money, proving that it is not a mistake.
>>93976853
Understandable. It works when the machine is checked and known. It doesn't when it is unregulated
No, Amy Pascal is.

Reminder she wanted to make the horse movie a shitty Smurfs ripoff.

Just which form of (((capitalism))) are we talking about here, OP? Because I am aware of a very prevalent majority in the entertainment industry, especially Hollywood, that are the biggest enthusiasts of toilet humor.>tfw this movie might not be so bad if it weren't for the strange rise in popularity of a shit emoji within the recent times

Regulations kill the free market!
>>93976326
no, it brough you your longer lifespan better jobs and a better world generally. That said it think regulations are necessary and I would even argue for comprehensive large scale government run social programs.
regardless, The Emoji Movie is really just an attempt for sony to try and seize a currently popular property that originated in japan and isn;t really owned by any individual group or person.
for a movie studio it's kind of perfect. It's a huge property known by everyone around the wolrd, but due to it's history it doesn't really have a single owner and can simply be taken.
I hope the movie fails though, it's a shit idea.
