Does the extended cut improve the movie in any way?
As someone who liked the movie: if you didn't like the theatrical version, the extended cut's not going to save it for you. The only notable change I can think of off the top of my head is some more flashback scenes with Joker and Harley.

Longer bits in the bar too.
And I think they actually showed Digger coming back? Because in the movie he runs out as soon as the bombs are deactivated ... but then is magically there for the big fight.

This. BvS was much more of an upgrade with the DC than this was and most of the really really choppy annoying shit ( like all the pointless pop songs ) is still there.
It's not *really* a Director's Cut ... just a slightly longer cut with the stuff that was in the trailers added back into the movie.
