Just got this. It's fucking dope. In the hundreds of DD threads I've talked in, not one person recommended it. Just Miller and Janson. Why is that?

Also Nocenti's run on DD doesn't get enough attention.
That's likely because you overlooked it. The art alone is worthy of recommending.

Most people will tell you that DD somehow brings the best out of most writers. I don't know if it's because they're trying to prove themselves to get onto A-list books or simply the character and setting lend themselves to creative development.
