Reading this for the first time. Without spoiling, what am I in for?
Oops, forgot to take the trip off.

Is that the volume before Miller was actually writing it? Because it doesn't really get worth reading until Miller actually becomes the writer. He had just been a penciler before that for a few issues. They aren't bad though, just not great like his classic run was.
Kino. If you're familiar with Miller's later works, mainly his stylistic sensibilities, you'd see them developing here. The book is to Miller what Miracleman is to Moore.
Comickino. Make sure to read Elektra Lives Again too.
Also read Nocenti and Kesel's Daredevil after your done with Miller. Bendis's Daredevil is shit and has all of the problem his current writing has, so I don't know why people put it on a pedestal.

It's ok. Not as mature and dark as Miller. Most of it aged poorly but it's a fun read if you like silver age Marvel. I'm probably the only one on the planet who enjoyed his pairing with Black Widow, although it lasted longer then it should have.

Just fucking read it. Christ.
