did you misread "geek God" as "greek God" in your own mind? Because being into norse or greek mythology was pretty geeky. The tweet or tumble or whatever the fuck that message is from isn't incorrect.

It's okay. You're among /co/. You don't have to feel so insecure.

Thor has never been a "geek god".

Tolkien was fluent in several languages and had a massive interest in Norse Mythology. He based almost every aspect of Middle Earth on a mish mash of Christian and Norse mythology and brought elements of it into the popular Mainstream. So yeah, Norse is way more geeky than Greek

Have you never spoken to a Lit major?

Have you ever spoken to a DnD or MtG player?

I play D&D, so yes.
Besides, Norse mythology in those settings is basically its own thing.
It's like calling the Nordic pantheon in the Elder Scrolls "Norse mythology" because they share similarities.
People who don't even read comics or watch cartoons or play whatever the fuck geek out about the Greeks.
It's universal.

Dr. Blake is a total geek.
