If Dredd went into Marvel or DC would he just be seen as the

From what I remember, Dredd will follow the Law of wherever he is to a T and if in a place that's deemed to be lawless like the Cursed Earth he has ranking authority. But in times where he didn't have authority as a Judge (one story I remember was when he technically wasn't a Judge for a few hours after serving a tour of duty on the moon) he was basically a model citizen because he still obeys The Law.

So presumably he would do the same if he ended up in the Marvel or DC universe, though times when it's been the other way around (Batman vs Dredd) he hasn't taken too kindly to vigilantes.
