who remember this comic series?

I remember it having great artwork but the story being a very decompressed monster of the week without much else going on ordeal for fifty or so issues
loved it at first, but slowly lost interest over time

Heh feelsgoodman don't know what he's up to these days but he was a sort of a short dude so maybe he got into comics after that....
