I am looking for a comic i read when i was younger, it was in the late 90s or early 00s. It could have been from earlier though

it would probably classify as adult fantasy / horror, the style was realistic and gloomy/ominous

The story contained some dark dragonlike creatures, impaled corpses and i think it was a female protagonist
There might have been nymphs involved as well'

i do not recall the plot at all
