The metal bones, assuming they are the "unbreakable" adamantium variant, would actually be a hinderance to Hulk since he can get huger and huger when enraged. Having unbreakable bones would mean that his meat just plops off his skeleton, pulverizing him.

This would be a problem even if they only coat the claws like with Laura.
