That's honestly just bad storytelling. Star Wars is a franchise where actions have dire consequences and people who do bad things don't get happy endings.

On top of being good storytelling for all ages, it's healthy to rotate out the villain pool to keep things fresh and interesting.

Having a female villain who floats around forever, never dying or ending up anywhere of note would be boring, and doesn't justify whatever porn you'd get out of it.

This is why Seventh Sister and Ventress had to die. They don't deserve happy lives, and they had their time in the spotlight.

It's good you bring him up, and I'm going to repeat something here I said a few months ago. I am glad that Pellaeon is no longer canon. He used to be a "nice guy" imperial, but really he wasn't very deep or well-written. He was a bumbling Nigel Bruce style Watson to the godlike chessmaster Sherlock Holmes of original Thrawn. All good traits he had, including his appearance, are now embodied in Wullf Yularen, who has had a great deal more exposure nowadays. Eli Vanto meanwhile is a far better counterpart to Thrawn, with differences, and weaknesses and strengths that play off of Thrawn's, the same way how Watson and Holmes were originally written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and how they are better played by Robert Duvall in The Seven-Per-Cent Solution and Jude Law in the Guy Ritchie movies.

Does the EU make anyone else really nostalgic for their childhoods? Clone Wars 2003, Shadows of the Empire on N64, and the Republic comics remind me of being a kid in my little hometown on some comfy early morning during spring break. They also remind me of my mom since I got into Star Wars right before she got sick and passed away.

I don't know how to explain it, but the EU (aside from shit like the Vong and TOR) gives me massive feels for what my life used to be and how different it is now.

To be honest, im not convinced it's a Boba movie. The only pieces of evidence are Trank throwing a tantrum ("Yeah, I was totally gonna make a badass Boba movie, but you know what, I don't even wanna do it now, sucks youre gonna miss out!"), and "it's so obvious because it will make money!" which is invalidated by the lack of Obi-Wan, Vader, Maul, ect.

Not to mention the fact that the 2020 movie is an idea straight from Lucas, so it is uncertain how much Lucas would really push for that.

HOWEVER, there is some actual evidence towards a Boba Fett movie;

So it actually IS possible that Lucas himself had a Boba movie up his sleeve.

Worth mentioning that unlike all the other TCW Season 7 footage they showed, it took an extra 2 years before it was decided that they could reveal that Boba clip this year. When you think about WHY that took so long to be permitted, it should be apparent that they must be thinking hard about the timeline of Boba Fett, with the intention on expanding it. They didn't know whether we should see that TCW clip, they haven't shown him escape the Sarlacc Pit, he's had no books, no comics.
