Yes, preferring a race is fine. Preferring blondes over red heads is fine. But there's a big difference between preferring and fetishizing. The number of anons I see who legitimately want to move to Japan just to get a shy, demure Japanese girl is pretty sickening. That's fetishizing. They've decided they love the race and don't even care about the girl herself.

I don't think I could handle someone who's an amputee, but if I met the perfect person and they happened to be missing an arm, I could probably look past it. If the same can't be said about someone in regards to race, that's where the problem is.
