I don't even get how they managed to drag out this fucking cloud drama for so long when it was pretty open and shut from a moral and pragmatic standpoint what should have been done. The fact that they then tried to turn it around and make out the guy trying to stop his own minority group from being gassed to death as "literally Hitler" is just icing on the cake.
