My crack theory is that Haggar is Alfor's sister or his sister-in-law, and Allura's birth mother (that couldn't raise her because reasons). Wild as fuck, but I feels good in my head so I'll keep it in there until canon replaces it.

I also like to imagine young Haggar as one of the earliest druids and that she was once a very warm and idealistic person, and very dedicated to her work. I kind of just want to imagine cute, upbeat Haggar, though. It would be a nice contrast with her current melancholy and sinister demeanor.
