Why do people here think this is dumb? I thought it was pretty fun.

Planet Hulk is amazing. Great new characters introduced, and great writing. World War Hulk not so much. WWH had alot of dumb things happen, and everything just returns to status quo at the end.

I think part of what made Planet Hulk so good was that it had almost nothing to do with the usual marvel universe stuff. It was basically an epic tale out of Heavy Metal Magazine.

I think it's the weakest piece of Pak's Hulk. Hulk just sort of being calm and announcing shit on the big screens in times square is stupid. He should have been on a rampage.

Also all the heroes acting like idiots or useless, the Fantastic Four alone can stop the Hulk, even this Hulk.

Miek was fatalistically obsessed with revenge, he wanted the Hulk to keep fighting forever, no matter who or what they did wrong, if anything. Miek's species was doomed and he wanted the universe to suffer. That's why he killed Hulk's family and made it look like the Illuminati was to blame, so Hulk would attack them. Miek didn't care who got hurt or who did the hurting, so long as it didn't end.
