I actually know few people from Africa. One who came here as a baby and was raised with American culture and another who was born and raised in Africa and came here in their early 20s. The former of course is obviously more influenced by American culture than the latter who was raised in African culture. T'Challa has had experience with American culture but his home is primarily Wakanda, especially being the ruler. This makes as much sense as him going around screaming "Black Power!". Different anon, and I know none, but I know plenty of Africans who now live in Canada, and they have a very different culture from either mainstream white Canada OR urban black Canadians. They would absolutely call themselves "Ethiopian" or "Somalian," not "black."
They also tend to speak impeccable english, cause of the whole ESL education, and would find AAVE as totally incomprehensible as I do.

It's about verisimilitude. And putting a ranchera in the trailer of a movie about a movie set in Argentina makes about as much sense as Hip Hop for a movie set in Africa, which is to say NONE AT ALL.
