My thoughts on episode 5:
I liked that David wants to avoid Jasper's death by faking the ending of the story, I mean, it was obvious he died either during the fall or when the bears mauled him. I don't know if he did this in order to avoid scaring the children, or if he has some sort of PTSD and he tries to avoid it.

If there's one thing that's letting me down from this season is that its now 100% about the jokes, when last season was 80% jokes and 20% development and character. And yeah, its a comedy show, but that 20% really shined and added depth to what used to be one-dimensional characters.
Now it's just jokes jokes jokes, and some of them arent funny.

Last season the comedy felt natural with the characters just interacting with each other, like the murder mystery episode, the spooky island episode, the trip with David episode, etc. The situations where simple and the jokes were told by how great these characters bouncing off each other. This season the stories are the joke, and the only episode that had interactions being the main source of comedy was the LOTR parody

Honestly what prompted me to start writing was my complete discuss with the majority of fan fiction. Harrison is a piece of shit, that's for sure. But this show is really good shows us a simple lesson that we forget daily: People are good and evil, at the same time.
In Quest to Sleepy Peak, Nerris has no problem treating him like shit, and he never took revenge on her, probably because he has nothing against her. His backstory is probably interesting, I bet he's a failed magician who always wanted to be the next Chris Angel or Masked Magician but cannot do so because he cannot control his magic, and yes, he is probably the only legit magician in the world.
The same happens with every other character. Nurf for example, he's a bully and a big asshole but he also has identity issues (he was clearly bothered when Neil threatened to post photoshops questioning his sexuality).
So far, we have seen Max suffer less than others, mostly because he exerts dominance and he is intelligent not to display any weakness in public, but I'm sure we'll see him breaking down in a future episode.

Well my personal favorite pairing is Max/Harrison just because I love the dynamic. Harrison is a little douche bag but he's sly about it. Otherwise he's a very upbeat and positive person. Max just needs a little love, which in my head, Harrison is more than happy to facilitate.

Max is definitely my favorite with Harrison being a close second. As for the light boy love thing, it will probably be nothing lewd(probably), but I intend to push Max and Harrison closer together. Neil will be involved as a jealous friend. As a nerd, Neil doesn't really have an abundance of these so he would likely be very threatened if Max started choosing to spend more time with Harrison.

Also Dolph is just kinda not on my radar. Sorry bro. RT really needs to flesh out these side characters more. Until then, it's hard for me to find an interest in any of them.
