His subplot in season 2 was some of the most awful shit I forced myself to watch.

The vocal majority here in /co/ love him and say he is the best character and his relationships are the most profound and his fighting abilities are the most supreme and his unnecessary plot lines are the best.

I say that he's terrible and the worst character (Asami isn't a character so she doesn't count, she's wallpaper,) but no one else will agree and stop making threads about him and LoK.

I thought Bolin was one of the worst character and a completely obnoxious ass in Season 1.
He gets marginally better in Season 2 once they stopped trying to make him Sokka 2.0 and instead just focus on making him more naive and dumb, and he gets to interact with Varrick instead of Mako.
By Season 3 he's easily the best character in the main group. Which really doesn't mean much, but it's something. He has at least some character. He has some funny lines and interactions. And that's more than what can be said about the rest.

Maybe you'll like Bolin better if you keep watching, because like I said, he gets much better after S1.
But he's not worth watching the show for. And honestly, if you just started Korra, stop right now and spare yourself the dissapointment

Maybe you feel proud of yourself for having finished 4 seasons of a shitty cartoon you watched so you could complain about it with strangers on the Internet, but some people prefer to spend their times actually doing things they need or like doing.

I sat through all seasons of Korra.
The good things I got out of it were not enough to justify the giant amounts of shitty things I got in return. It was not worth it. It adds nothing to the Avatar series, in fact it only makes things worse.
There is no conversation worth having about this show with anyone. Even the normies have forgotten it. The show drowned itself in irrelevance and lesbian controversy, and now it's only remembered via Tumblr fanart and spite from /co/.

I'm telling OP right now that, if he hates the show seven episodes in, he should just stop because it's only going to get worse
