Dennis stated on his twitter that beyond the first TLJ DLC, there is admittedly probably going to be a lot more PT-Era heroes on demand than any TLJ characters, but they intend to try and balance the eras as much as possible. Presumably meaning they're going to try and reach the 5-per-faction standard that the OT is launching with, as long as they can find enough ST characters to put in the game.

He also said they'll be heavily focusing on adding what the community wants, so if there's any surprise fan-favorite characters in TLJ, they would obviously take precedence over Padmé.

All in all, this is a very smart decision, and it's quite exciting to think that most of the 2018 DLC will be PT/TCW themed. The normies get the Battlefront sequel they expect, and the fanbase gets the Battlefront game they always wanted, with a tailored DLC experience for them.

Aside from the microtransactions, this game is actually looking pretty damn solid and chock-full of content. Mountains better than the shit they released in 2015.
