Since space travel is apparently not uncommon, Hanazuki's moon isn't exactly in the clear. They know how to fight the Big Bad, but there are probably other threats. Plus, her moon needs to be fixed up after getting romped by Maroshi's moon.

Kiazuki's moon is still a shithole, Kiyoshi's moon is one unicorn civil war from being destroyed again, and Twisted is still flying around like the twat he is. And Maroshi is just straight up homeless.

Since Moonzuki didn't show up in the finale, she might show up in the theatrical short. Supposedly she teaches Hanazuki about her purpose in the galaxy and whatnot, so maybe that will further explain what the Big Bad is, and what might be coming in the second season.

Remember that episode where the Hemkas went crazy and started acting like savages? What if Zikoro's colors and appearance were the result of staying in that state for too long? We know the white parts in Kia's body can change colors so her unusual greyish colors are probably her default form (unless she used to be more colorful like Hana and lost her colors over time), I am wondering if the "missing" Zikoros (and Zikoro himself) used to be Hemkas at some point and if Zikoro himself represented another color and emotion

It's not hard when you just remember the one constant in her personality is intense self regard. She couldn't accept the reason why she couldn't grow anything was because of a personal flaw or that stealing trees was wrong, just that if she goes through the actions it'll eventually fall on her lap, which I suppose makes sense as moonflowers are kind of left to do shit on those own in a potentially hostile planet.
