At least everyone agrees Vulture was good
>>
I'm super relieved he didn't die
>>
>>93847324
Yeah I also like how they played with our expectation that he would
>>
>>93846191
he was great, is fucked when he talks about "my wife's daughter" because he looks like a cuck, but other than that great
>>
I thought that the monologue about how shitty comic books and comic book fans are was a little on the nose, but other than that I liked it.
>>
>>93846191
Vulture was good but underdeveloped and underutilized
>>
>>93847444
Wait did he say that? I thought Liz was his kid. Even though he's named Toomes and she's named Allen
>>
>>93847738
She's only ever referred to as Liz, no last name given, but there was also no indication that he wasn't her father.
>>
>>93846191
I was very disappointed at the lack of Birdman or even batmans quips
>>
>>93846191
Vulture was a trump voter.
>>
>>93847786
so then you're just assuming.
>>
>>93847977
Then why was his wife and daughter black?

>tfw the child soldier you weaponized and then abandoned with no real contact for months begins to get unruly
>>
>>93847977
That's why he's a criminal :^)
>>
>>93847977
the hillary cameo was kind of awkward
>>
>>93848008
That wasn't me genius, use your fucking context clues.
>>
>>93847977
>hates the rich and powerful
>likes trump

yeah that makes total sense.... in fucking bizzaro world.
>>
>>93846191
Nah. Stealing alien tech and staying under the radar from the avengers is ridiculous seeing as how they went after Crossbones for stealing some biological blood or whatever.

Instantly took me out of the movie among other bullshit. Sucks, cause I had high hopes
>>
>>93848047
I get that you're trying to bait. But the plot would've made it crystal clear if he wasn't her real dad
>>
>>93846191
I actually liked the redesign for once.

Though I think the original one just wasnt very good even for comics.
>>
>>93848900
Crossbones was also part of a terrorist cell that was very high prolific in their thefts. Vulture was literally picking leftovers from Avenger fights while they were transported without ever raising a stink since Damage Control never bothered with cataloging what they collected so they could never confirm what was stolen if anything was stolen.

Can we use this design for the rest of time in the comics? It makes my heart doki doki
>>
>>93846191
His "Tony don't care about us" speech makes no sense though.
>>
>>93849065
Yeah Vulture always looked bad
>>
>>93848731
He's rich himself so that was already bizarre anyway.
>>
>>93849672
Doesn't have to make sense, he just has to believe what he says

Owning a garbage business in Queens doesn't make you rich
>>
>>93849694
There's a difference between rich and wealthy
>>
>>93849709
All that does is make me want Darkhawk to show up.
>>
>>93849341
Considering he was going in mid transit, I think he was hitting before they could catalog things more than them being that fucking stupid. Admittedly, they easily could just be that fucking stupid.
>>
>>93850895
But they didn't even bother cataloging the shit Peter was in. Which means Damage Control was literally shitting the bed by not cataloging their finds before hauling it and after getting it to their storage station.
>>
I can't wait for HD screen caps of Toomes pirched on that billboard waiting for Starks transport jet
>>
Who the hell were they selling this tech/weapons to anyway? Vulture had a damn nice house to be under the radar weapons dealer
>>
>>93852239
They were selling them overseas most likely. Hell, he may have been the guy who sold shit to Crossbone and Batroc.
>>
>>93852239
I'm surprised Juan didn't have a story about vulture
>>
>>93847566
I wish there were more scenes with him. On the positive side there is always more room for development and better utilization if they ever want to bring him back.
>>
>>93849476
All other design elements aside, the fur-lined bomber jacket was a great call.
>>
I'm actually angry because I have this weird crush on Michael Keaton and this movie did not help with this situation at all.
>>
Anyone else expecting some sort of redemption sacrifice in the sequel. Feels like they're setting it up
>>
>>93847324
>>93847390

Same, gents. Of course I hope that this means that they'll actually call Keaton back for another go.
>>
>>93851895

Fine taste, my man.
>>
>>93847965
Fuck, missed opportunity. I think the closest they got was "flying monster guy"
>>
>>93852239

Mac Gargan name got tossed around like 3 times with those weapon deals

What?
Not every great villain has to eat up the entire movie.
>>
>>93850948

Could have just been dropping off containers at a secure facility to be catalogued later. It's not like anyone was getting in there.
>>
>>93847324
Ditto, besides the first Shocker, no villain died. Which is good, because if any heroes should have recurring villains, it's Spider-Man and Batman

Stark never once said he knew what he was doing with this whole "daddy" thing

But still, you've got to admit, the Tony scenes were a lot better than anyone thought they would be.

>>93858993
I hope that reaction image isn't trying to prove your point, because the Joker is as much TDK as Batman was
>>
>>93848731
No, it doesn't make any sense, but it does accurately describe a massive amount of IRL republican voters.
>>
I'm going to be perfectly honest, and maybe I sound like I'm trying too hard but, Michael Keaton was pretty damn intimidating as Vulture. That smirk he made in the car after he found out got to me.
>>
>>93846191
>muh washed-out actor from the 90s
Vulture a shit. Hope we get Miles already. They already started replacing Peter's supporting cast anyway.
>>
>>93846191
I'm really not understanding the hate for this movie. Sure, there was some mild SJW going on, but other than that I thoroughly enjoyed the entire movie. If you guys should be complaining about anything, it should be the weak ending. I would have liked to see Spidey actually beat the Vulture.
>>
>>93862666

I knew from spoilers, but when he opens the door to reveal he's Liz's father. That entire scene was so fuxking tense.

Keaton has been killing it on this comeback.
>>
Vulture was great. Aunt May was handled horribly.
>>93858935
This shit is unforgivable.
>>
>>93848731
This is actually a thing in real life, though
>middle americans rebelling against the elite and voting for a man who isn't merely very wealthy but lived in a literally golden penthouse

Vulture had a lot of personal honor though
>>
>>93847444
>>93847738
He never said that.
>>
>>93848731
He doesn't hate rich people, he wants to become rich and he was trying to do so legitimately, but the government and corporate interests fucked him out of that legitimate oppurtunity and so he resents them.
>>
>>93862666
>>93863287
>Everything in the car
>When the light goes red when Toomes realizes what the fuck is going on

I came violently.
>>
>>93863539
Did you miss the whole speech where Toomes went on about how the rich and powerful will never give a damn about the little guy?

It's ironic because he ends up shoveling alien weapons onto the streets
>>
>>93852239
Didn't you watch Luke Cage?
>>
Summerfags plz leave.
