Not often. Writers are adverse to giving superpowers logical drawbacks. It's happened to Daredevil a few times.

Super man's hearing works by what he tuning himself to hear. If he's focusing his hearing to listen to a heartbeat, they are susceptible to loud noise, and it's assumed that Zod's focused scream would make an explosion sound like a whisper.

Well in Invincible Viltrumite ears are extremely developed and sensitive to help them keep their balance and control in flight and was used to disable the MC early on, and is now being weaponised in the form of sonic augmented robots.

Dinosaurus used the same thing to paralyze the MC completely, effective timely putting him into a sort of waking coma.

Kong Kenan is basically a manifesto on why Clark Kent is such a good person when portrayed character correct. Far more then just the nature versus nurture argument, if you have super hearing you either go crazy becoming dead to the world or become compelled to help people because you hear nothing but suffering all around you until you learn to fix that.

But it's apparently just silly that he would eat them in this show. And instead gets their powers by some how physically looking at their brains.

I'll also add that this is extra dumb since the example I brought up had him immediately lose control of the power, something that happens with the nuclear power too, which doesn't seem like it should be possible if his shtick is just being really good at figuring them out so he replicates it, somehow. You'd think that level of knowing how they work would stop that.
