At least DC is letting a visionary director have creative control. MCU fucked up when they kicked Edgar Wright off Ant Man. All Wright wanted was to keep Falcon out of the film. The MCU is all about teasing future movies and Joss Whedon quit Marvel for good because they forced him to put the infinity stones in Age of Ultron and threatened to cut the farm scene if he left them out.
