It had the advantage of allowing normal swearing, offscreen sex, and punching people in the face.

Cons
>Animation and art probably aged poorly
>"Tied" to Raimi films to so limited in story arcs
>MTV didn't want Aunt May or JJ (too old)
>Used knockoff substitutes for canon characters
>Ended in a cliffhanger

It's likely not very good and adds little nostalgia, but it's the most mature (in terms of parental guidelines) animated Spidey has or will likely ever get, so it could be worth a look for that.
