This is Atari's Centipede. Yeah, Centipede. Trust me on this. It's written by the guy who did Foolkiller, and we all loved that.

Skipping the other covers.

That's more replies than I usually get for these kinds of things. Either of you here because of Foolkiller?
Posting the other covers now since I don't have anything better to do.
>>93839614
I just stumbled upon your thread randomly
>>93839602
>Atari logo as highway sign
heh
Artist of the book here, glad you guys like it! #2 is even better, a lot more emotional drama stuff so stick around (and buy the book if you can!)
Here's an exclusive teaser from #2 for y'all, where Dale gets a bit stabby with the Centipede
We need Adam Sandler!!
>>93839707
It's better to upload your teaser after this storytime.
>>93839732
There's only one issue out so far.
That was weird. Neat though.
>>93839725
Bite your tongue.
>>93839707
Cool! The art does a good job of showing Dale's loneliness as the last man alive. Great use of wide shots. I also like the "not-quite-Earth" aesthetic where at first glance it looks familiar before noticing some alien architecture. Can't wait to see that drama next month.
>>93839602
Thanks for the storytime OP, I loved Foolkiller. Is that a RLM reference?
>>93840386
Thanks! I love post-apoc scenarios so glad to hear it's getting the isolation across. I wish I had more time to define the not-quite-Earth aesthetic though, started a sketchbook as as style guide for myself but ran out of time. I think I forget to alien it up a bit sometimes too
>>93840914
Yup, good eye. I watch a lot of Pre-Rec streams while I work, I'm sending them a copy of #1 too since Rich and Jack read comics
Good start
>>93841060
Loved your art here, and I am agreeing with>>93840386 on it getting Dale's loneliness accross very well. Sending my lcs a mail requesting them to add it to my pull list right now.

Awesome, appreciate it anon!
>>93839321
Foolkiller was good tho.
>>93839707
Love this man >>93839357
They're probably going to adapt this and the Swordquest comic for the Ataribox
>>93839298
Thanks OP
>>93842652
Yeah, I'm starting to realize that
Probably hyping up their IPs
>>93839305
atari2600 art?
why not the arcade game art?
>>93844267
They did that with Swordquest too
Then again Swordquest isn't an arcade game
>>93839707
You're really fucking good man. And it's great to see another artist being active on /co/ and /r/comicbooks . Just want you to know you're building a good fanbase and good favor!
>>93839707
how long is this series going to be friend
>>93842088
Thanks dude! Everyone seems to dig that spread. Love to get some Otomo vibes on
>>93842652
I doubt it. Swordquest and Centipede are only two out of around fifty Atari licenses the writers could pick from and pitch
>>93844778
Oh cheers man! I don't think I'm great at the self-promotion side of things, but good to hear! And thanks for reading!
>>93845508
I don't know for definite yet, but I'm definitely doing at least five issues. I can't see it going much longer than that with this kinda premise, but I don't know the exact plans either so don't quote me on it
>>93839506
the monomyth
is this really where this is going? ok lemme strap in
Can someone explain me what's going on with this Atari revival?
>>93845602
>Atari wojak
I wish you the best, man.
>>93846203
They're making a new console. Gotta hype up their IPs.
